This painting is the result of the fortunate coincidence of road construction and an overly ambitious sidewalk cleaner who drenched the entire street. I will occasionally haunt this corner to see what the light is doing. Or the lights, I should say, since the street is filled with neon. Or is it LEDs now? Either way, I can’t get enough of it. This is one of my favorite angles, where the lights are multiplied by the window reflections. Boston used to be filled with amazing vistas, and this is one that still remains.
